About SendXa

A browser page that moves files straight from one device to another — no account, nothing to install, and nothing left on our server afterwards.

Send large files between computers and phones, right in the browser

SendXa moves files in all four directions: computer to computer, phone to phone, phone to computer and computer to phone. The sending side opens the page, picks the files, then reads out a 9-digit ID and a 6-digit code — or sends the link straight over email or chat. The receiving side needs nothing but a browser: Windows, macOS, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android all work, with no app to install.

Files are never stored on our server

The server only holds the file names and sizes so the other side knows what is waiting. When they hit download, the data streams straight from the sending device and passes through the server without ever touching its disk — no copy is left behind to leak later, and there is nothing to delete afterwards. Each ID survives ten wrong code guesses before it closes, and the share link carries its own token after the hash, which browsers never send to any server along the way.

No account, no install, no daily limit

No account to create, no email to hand over, no daily quota and no ads. Files can be up to 32.0 GB each, and because nothing is stored, our disk space has nothing to do with how big your files are. One trade-off in return: the page on the SENDING device has to stay open until the other side finishes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I send files from my phone to a computer?
Yes, and the other way round. Uploads runs in the browser, so iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux can all send and receive without installing anything.
How large can a file be?
Up to 32.0 GB per file, with no limit on how often you send. Files are never stored on our server, so file size has nothing to do with our disk space.
Do I need an account?
No. No account, no email, nothing to install. Open the page and start sending.
Are my files stored on your server?
No. The server only keeps file names and sizes while the session is open. The data streams from sender to receiver and is never written to the server's disk.
Does the recipient have to install anything?
No. They open sendxa.app and enter the ID and code, or just click the link you sent.
